I believe that therapy should be a process that honors each individual's story and helps to utilize, nurture and inspire our inner strengths. Life, however can be difficult, past and present trauma as well as future worry can make it challenging to realize our best self. Therapeutic support, spirituality and your community can all be effective in your healing process.

I received my masters in Social Work from New York University and received my post graduate training in family therapy from The Ackerman Institute for the Family and New York University Medical Center's Family Studies Unit. I also received training in hypnosis from NYSEPH I am certified to practice EMDR and have served on the board of directors for the collaborative family law counsel of Wisconsin and consult as a divorce coach, child specialist and mediator.

Mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, EMDR, and insight oriented psychotherapy are some of the techniques I use as a therapist to help you build on your strengths as well as to develop new methods of coping and better self care. Becoming conscious of what techniques and strategies are effective leads to life long growth, change and self awareness.
